Co-creating a playground at UQ
The University of Queensland is in the process of designing a playground. We want to involve the community and particularly its young people in the design process. We are also keen to hear from parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends and all those who care about, and support children’s play. There is no age limit for entrants to this competition!
What would your ideal playground look like?
Draw pictures and/or write about what you want and need from a playground on the UQ St. Lucia Campus.
Prizes
Multiple prizes (for example, gift vouchers and class pool party and family passes for the Aquatic Centre at UQ) will be awarded based on the following criteria:
• Creativity of submission
• Potential for community engagement demonstrated through the proposed playground
• Social, physical, cognitive, environmental and other benefits associated with the
proposed playground.
