About the Human Resources Division
UQ's staff represents both its greatest resource and its largest investment. Our workforce underpins all that we do across learning, discovery and engagement. The UQ Strategic Plan sets out to develop a diverse community of knowledge seekers and leaders who embody a One UQ culture and use collaborative partnerships to connect and co-create. UQ HR is here to support that objective.
We support UQ staff and leaders through the foundations of the employment experience, including managing workforce strategies, recruiting and developing UQ talent, enhancing the existing employee experience, managing rewards and benefits, and enabling organisational effectiveness.
Human Resources is responsible for enabling achievement of the University’s strategic ambitions through attracting, developing, and retaining talented, engaged, and high-performing staff. This in turn enables University staff to better support our current and future students.
Human Resources provides high-quality human resource management guidance and expertise, through effective policy development, constructive advice, and efficient administrative services. We have a team of strategic HR professionals to provide outstanding, client focused, proactive, and cost-effective solutions and services for all staff.
