Data management and data integration are vital in supporting business, academic and research excellence, however the complex nature of higher education often presents key challenges.
The information management program will develop a proactive approach to data management, while also ensuring seamless, secure and reliable interoperability and information sharing between IT services.
The information management program aims to achieve the following in 2021:

embed sophisticated role management and data handling capabilities to automatically manage user access to data according to role-based privileges

continue progressing the data integration project to design and build the proposed Next Generation Central Integration Platform (CIP), with an initial focus on foundational architecture design and process delivery

continue progressing the Enterprise Data Governance Program to ensure compliance with information management governance and other applicable standards, legislation and regulations.
