The Chief Information Officer (CIO) has functional accountability for Information Technology across the University of Queensland’s diverse IT environment; its provision, security, architecture and governance.

The Information Technology Services (ITS) Division reports to the CIO. It provides over 70% of UQ’s IT services and, along with the provision and management of the University’s core enterprise systems, the Division manages one of the largest and fastest data networks in Queensland.

The Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Strategy (2021-23) supports UQ’s strategic mission to provide knowledge leadership for a better world, and defines UQ’s IT goals, priorities and vision for the future.
